Intention of Junior League is to encourage Middle School beginners (grades 8-9.) It is a project designed to give new debaters a chance to debate against other schools and get some practice. Participating pupils should be in Years (7)-8-9. Open to all schools.

Dear colleagues,
The teams marked in yellow (FAG, Karls, MBG, Schubart, OHG, Scheffel, Scholl and Kepler (Cannstatt)) have all qualified for the quarter-finals. These will be held on Saturday, 8th May at 2 pm (motion reading) at Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium, Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt (thanks to them for hosting).
To the other teams, nil desperandum, thank you for taking part and hope that you take part in JL 2010-2011. This will not be run by me and Jana but by Tobias Koppisch and Susanne Becker and you'll be hearing from them in the autumn. I wish you all the best and will see the eight quarter-finalists in two weeks time.
