EurOpen 2006

2006 - 10th European Open - Sunday 26th November to Saturday 2nd December 2006

This year it will be our 10th contest and therefore we hope to find an outstanding number of teams from all over the world who want to join us. Most of all we are looking forward to welcoming you back or for the first time to the English debating community in Germany.
We are happy to organize workshops as well as debates combined with some interesting sight seeing and activities.
Please. do not hesitate to contact us for further information or answers to your specific questions and requirements. We are waiting for your registration!

In past years we have hosted teams variously from the Czech Republic, Estonia, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia, Spain, and the USA. In 2004 14 German and visiting teams competed, and this year, with even more countries involved, we hope to expand. We see the event as a renewal of the WSDC 2004 in Stuttgart and a chance to meet in the middle of Europe.

final:
Germany - Canada = 0:5

semi-finals:
Romania - Canada = 1:2
Israel - Germany 1 = 0:3
